Slick deals just trying to make the deal look slicker… in reality, it's $1.00 off

What are some good driver bits? Mine keep wearing out. But I keep buying these cheap ones

Milwaukee bits are good, according to project farm:

Certain milwaukee and certain Makita bit sets. Varies even in brand.
Made in USA Apex are the best of the best, but not cheap. Then as Michael says, most of the Makita and Milwaukee. The first time the bit spins, it is typically time for a new one. Adjust the clutch for the job, or let the impact do the work and all bits will last longer. If using like a direct drive drill, none will hold up.
But yea, the stamped "China" bits in this Craftsman set are more or less junk, The two socket adapters, nut drivers and the bit holder are just ok for the price and the red case is kind of attractive with room for loose bits in the center. Nevertheless, like all clear cases, they are somewhat fragile if carried in a toolbox, or in sub zero weather and you drop it.
If you actually check the price history, you'd realize that the price of the set occasionally does dip down to five dollars but it is more routinely a $10 set.
I see a lot of people complaining about this screwdriver set, but it is actually an excellent value. Sure these aren't impact rated bits, but you will never find a five dollar set of 24 impact rated bits, much less from a brand you can recognize.
Frankly I find it somewhat surprising that people can still manage to find something to complain about when you're talking about spending less than five dollars to have brand-name bits delivered to your door in a clear case for less than five dollars. This is an exceptional deal and while it may not be the right set for everyone, you have to acknowledge that 24 bits for five dollars delivered is pretty remarkable.
