Schwinn Airdyne Pro model is on sale for lowest price ever according to Camelcamelcamel for $699.99 shipped thru Amazon. Link below:
https://www.amazon.com/Schwinn-10...015XMJ6WC/
The Pro model and AD7 model are the SAME exact bike except the Pro model is the commercial version so it actually has a better warranty. Many websites tout the Schwinn Airdyne Pro as the best airbike model, and some (garagegymreviews) have it in 2nd place to the Rogue Echo because the Echo has a cheaper MSRP of $849. With this sale price you are getting the best at a lower price.

Im still surprised that Schwinn has not updated or improved this bike since it first came out many years ago, The screen looks like the same - something that was made 20 years ago, its very limited and you can not save any settings or exercise data at all - it has no internal memory , it also uses weird outdated frequency for heart rate monitors, you cant even find these compatible HR monitors on sale today - nobody makes or uses them in todays fitness industry.
I will say the quality of the bike itself is top notch , still runs like new and this price is hard to beat.
Looks like exercise equipment demand is cooling off as pandemic easing off and prices are finally coming down.
Compared to my peloton and Keiser m3 spin bikes it's a very different experience. They both have their place. I use the spin bikes for longer more sustained speed rides. They have buttery smooth drivetrains and magnetic resistance. I use the air bike to warm up for lifting sessions as well as dedicated interval sessions. I don't have any interest doing a steady state ride on an air bike for more than 5 to 10 min as a warm up. They just aren't enjoyable like a spin bike is for longer rides. The air bikes that use belts are pretty smooth and quiet with the exception of the noise the blades make as you increase intensity. They get loud in that sense. So I own both style bikes as they both serve different purposes for me. Hope this helps.

Thanks OP!
Airdynes seem to have a faithful following. I use a Vision Fitness bike with flywheel and magnetic resistance. For those of you who have used a good quality magnetic resistance flywheel bike vs. this one, which do you prefer? Would this be a great step up?

Yes it's a well built bike and will last a long time. The rogue echo imo is superior bike in every way. I've owned both and sold the ad pro. But you can't go wrong with either. Resistance on the ad pro is higher than the echo fwiw.

We're only now hearing about a possible recession in late 2023, early 2024. If these are still the good times, that pending "recession" scares the heck out of me. I feel like we're already in a recession, but no one is reporting on it or wants to acknowledge it.
