Oh man, my best friend & I loved this game in the arcade. After we graduated from HS, we decided we would spend however much $$ it took to beat the game. I think we both ended up spending about $10 a piece. But here's the trick to beating the T1000. At least what worked for us. When one person gets the rocket launcher, they have to hold onto it, letting the other player fight the T1000 solo. When the other person has knocked the T1000 to the very edge, then you use the rocket launcher as the last shot to knock it off the ledge. No idea how we figured that out but it worked.
This machine has audio popping issues along with other gameplay audio studder. Sounds like a bowl of Rice Krispies turned on. Exactly the type of quality you want for $500 +.
I'll bite at $300 since I played this so much as a kid with the original cabs. Curious to see if it's just moving a cursor around or if they actually implemented light gun functionality into the LCD

You would hope and think that with the advancements made to technology that we would be able to at least recreate these great arcade memories with the same quality, or better.... Unfortunately a lot of times it just doesn't do it

Buck Hunter already has the sinden light gun setup. I wouldn't see why this wouldn't.

Dude, I spent countless quarters on this arcade - so damn good! Although I was never able to beat the T1000 - I was convinced it was impossible!

Well thanks for the spoiler. I'm going to spend $600 to build this arcade just so I can use your $20 strategy to beat it.🤣🤣

Shame, I'd love to see a cabinet that had light guns (a la Time Crisis series, Area 51) but also had a "dock" to play games like this or various other positional-based ones.

According to this, the arcade version guns are position, not light sensing. One would assume this would be the same way (it's likely cheaper too)
