This is a great treadmill with the only con being it is really loud when running (tends to bounce a bit). However, please inspect the treadmill once received. I had to get a replacement from Amazon as mine came with many broken pieces.

Bought this 2 years ago on Amazon for $599, rock solid and zero problems after daily use both running and walking.

Have not noticed the sound as any different from previous treadmills at home / gym but I do recall reviews talking about damaged units on delivery to echo the above comments.

I'm not sure any treadmill requires a subscription for basic functions. This one is pretty basic.

The reviews and videos on amazon show the iFit subscription can be easily bypassed, but this machine squeaks a lot during a run, and Nordic track customer service is not very helpful in resolving the issue. I've been in the market for a treadmill for months now, but I will pass on this one.

What does "bypass iFit subscription" do? Do you need iFit for this to work? Or does it gain iFit features not usually offered without subscription (workout videos, etc)?

The machine comes with a 1month iFit subscription that many of the purchasers felt like they were forced to subscribe to. See the 1 star reviews on Amazon. However, the iFit subscription only offers training videos and is not necessary for the machine to function, and can be easily by passed by holding down the skip button for 30seconds. The reviews that worry me are the ones that show deficiencies in the hardware of the machine and the lack of customer support from Nordic track.

Good price although if you are open to used, right now is a great time to find deals as folks RTO and gyms re-open.
