Good deal, but the 512GB is the limiting factor. The pros should come standard with 1TB now-a-day. I can't even update my 512GB MacBook Pro to the new OS without deleting some major stuff. Definitely a hassle.
These m1 based devices are no joke. Picked up the mac mini m1 last week. Very impressed.
The pro brings active cooling. An interesting hack I saw for the base m1 air is to pop the bottom panel off and use a couple of thermal pads to connect the heatsink to the aluminum chassis.
Lower temps, higher clock speeds and a free lap warmer.
pun intended?

Available in Space Gray and Silver
Limited warranty comes with the product
Option to add AppleCare+ available
https://www.costco.com/macbook-pr...13178.html
edit: it looks like Costco is the same price. Likely, Amazon is matching Costco's lower price.
Costco has it with the same price as Amazon right now. See the second link that OP posted below the amazon one.
Costco does have it on sale.

16" is pretty chunky. If you don't NEED the bigger screen and can use an external monitor, I'd go 14".
