wonder how their quality has gotten? blew a new yamaha and a sony receiver trying to push some 6 Ohm speakers, only one I found that didn't blow was a Denon, been using it for the last 10 years.

Very. Repped. That was my first question. Thanks for answering it and saving me the time.

I've got the Costco version of the 5.2 AVR (TSR-700). It having the half spec HDMI 2.1 board kind of sucks but if your TV can handle eARC then it doesn't really matter. Just connect your PS5/XSX to your TV and eARC to the receiver. Otherwise it gets the job done quite well.

I have the a2a and the audio quality is very good but the lack of hdmi 2.1 really is unacceptable.

What speakers? Some speakers will say 6 ohms but they regularly hit much lower.

JAMO, I don't even have them hooked up anymore cause the new house has speakers in the ceiling ... still the same receiver though lol
