Going Under is a fun little roguelike, especially if you work in the valley/tech. Ezio Collection apparently hasn't gone lower than $30, but it's Ubisoft so I'm sure it will if you wait it out. On sale for $11.99 on Xbox right now if you're on that platform.

Is it anything like hades? Because that's the only roguelike I've played and I love it
Sword of the Necrodancer is a Binding of Isaac-style clone that is a bit more slow paced compared to the game it is mimicking. It's worth it to check out at this price of you like that style of game, but it has no where near the replay value once you finish it.

Roguelike is a pretty broad genre so its similarity to Hades is pretty minimal. Hades is a much better executed game, but Going Under is still fun and worth a shot at this price.

Going Under plays terribly, imo. It's a shame because it's clear that a lot of love went into it. It's humorous, has a great theme, and good systems behind the scenes for things like unlockables and subobjectives, but the controls and combat are really lacking.
So I just purchased Going Under and I'm having a great time. It's very funny and the rinse and repeat method we see in a lot of Rogue likes is satisfying. If I had any dings, it would be the load times. They do drag a bit when changing levels and dungeons.
Someone in the thread mentioned the controls, and yeah they aren't the tightest. They're far from terrible though. Well worth the $5. I'm happy with the purchase. Thanks OP.

It was a pretty good game, just not rogue like if that it exactly what he's looking for.
