Batteries, especially CR2032, are a very common fake item on Amazon, even if the item is coming from Amazon as the seller. I've purchased energizer branded CR2032 batteries that were fake and wouldn't last longer than 3 months in a key fob. I only buy batteries from B&M stores any more because of the amount of fakes online.

Same experience here with Energizer and Sony CR2032s from Amazon. Stopped buying them from Amazon after it happened the 2nd time.

I bought a name brand from a local store and didnt test it. 2 months later it was dead...
