This will work, unless you have a VW. What you need to do if you have a GDI VW is disassemble your engine, take all the pieces and throw them in the trash.

Don't choose a store, but add to cart and choose ship. For me, most items delivered from Walmart ship from a warehouse.

From Walmart, I tried three different zip codes in three different states and it ships too all. So not sure why you are having issues unless you chose delivered from a specific store.

actually this is not ture. bought a second hand tiguan 2011 with 50k miles and have used this with liqui moly valve clean to make sure it cleans the valves good. previous owner used regular gas and hardly did any maintenance. went with bore scope to check each valve and it was dirty as night. using each product by it's self only really did a partial clean and seafoam couldn't do anything. used both together and valves were really clean, but it took about a week and a half to work. took car to VW dealer when intake manifold was cracking and they recommended a valve clean. said ok, but service rep said it was not needed and only had very little deposits. i do this now every 30k miles or so and im at 150k total miles and car is still running strong.

Fyi, i removed Cat and now it stays cleaner and i don't have to do this too often.

Sure, if they have it in stock. By the time I make a trip to wherever, make copies of the receipt, find an envelope and add a 58 cent stamp to save less than a dollar, the OP is sounding better all the time.
People who don't like to (or can't) go to the store, should absolutely ignore my in-store suggestion of a way to acquire this product for $1.33 less.

While you do still have to mail the Menards rebate form(s) in, you don't have to make copies of receipts and you can combine many weeks worth of purchases into one envelope with one stamp. Depending on the amount a person buys there, the stamp cost can quickly become fairly negligible.

But the struggle of finding an envelope is on you, can't help much with that...though I think they might sell them at Walmart.

How did you apply both products? Put them thru gas tank or engine oil ?

Will this work with Diesel engines? According to the direction they do not mention diesels.

Most likely not. Soot from our engines behaves differently than gasoline deposits.

No Jeff, once again, it is not $1.33 net... you still have to provide an envelope and a 58 cent stamp... and your time. Perhaps $0.75 net plus envelope is worth your time and that is cool. Unlike the competition, Menards even charges more to pick up at service desk, or you have to wander store looking for whatever that may or may not be in stock. For many, the sales tax is also cheaper when delivered.

From experience, it is best practice to make copies of the receipts in case the originals are lost in the mail, or more likely, the no contact available rebate people goof it up.

If you are hustling the free stuff and/or do a lot of shopping at Menards playing their rebate game, I get it. But for one can and cheaper sales tax out of the city (3.75% or about $0.52 cheaper for me), Walmart can deliver it over 'saving' a net of about $0.23 from Menards. Add 5 cents for an envelope and I am down to $0.18 savings plus my time. If Menards ever moves into the 21st century with delivery or pickup as their competition, then maybe.

In my first post, I clearly said "IF" as in IF you can go to Menards and IF you do the rebate thing it'll be cheaper there.

The Menards option was clearly not for you from the start, since you clearly have issues with going to Menards and you clearly have issues doing the rebate. You didn't even need to fabricate your fictional reasons to not buy from there as I gave you 2 valid reasons in the first place.

But congratulations on the faux level of distress you've shown over an envelope. That's impressive, impressively funny.

Your preface of "IF" means nothing. I often go right by a Menards to Lowes, HD, Walmart, etc. When you can pass a literacy/comprehension test, it was the total cost of rebate, increased sales tax, time spent wandering store because Menards charges extra to pick up at service desk, etc. Net savings for me and many others after the hassle of shopping in store and rebate, is about $0.18.

I get it, where 18 cents is maybe a lot to you for perhaps an hour of your time... it is not for me. I will have it delivered from Walmart.

Enjoy your day....

If you had a carbon issue, of course. Diesel or kerosene is quite 'oily,' where carbon buildup on the intake valve is not typically an issue with also typically, the much higher compression. If you hear pre-ignition rattle, then I would slow it down. But once again, I doubt if you have carbon buildup on the intake valve where like with VW's, they simply converted their diesel to use gasoline. Where VW's improved, is when they updated their gas injectors to a massive amount of pressure. I think they are called 'piezo' injectors, or something like that.

Where this helps is when and if you have a turbo for normal diesel maintenance. I have a turbo lagging right now on an IDI and why I bought a couple cans. If it works, then great and if not, then it is going to be considerably more expensive. Of course, whatever is sprayed into the turbo is going into the cylinders, to then go to the back side of the exhaust driven turbo.

If nothing else (it could be a bearing going bad) it will make things cleaner if I have to take apart.

Before so flippantly suggesting a way to save some money on this product, I hadn't fully realized how disturbing it might be for you to shop at a Menards store, find an apparently very elusive envelope, and send in the rebate form with the rebate receipt that they give you at the register (no copy machine necessary).

In the future, if I find a way that some people can save some money on a product at Menards, how would you like me to phrase it so that you don't have to complain so fervently about it?

How about this: "If you don't have serious issues with shopping at a physical Menards store AND doing their rebate, it'll be cheaper there." Does that check all your boxes?

Cease with the Strawman nonsense.

You got snarky over what was a simple discussion for all costs and then whine because you got a similar response. Try being nice...

About now, I am waiting on 'Mutt' to chime in. But, as always, I made my point and no need for further discussion. I am not wandering around Menards for one item to save 18 cents. I will shop at Menards for a bunker/quantity of whatever if they are the cheapest net.
