Do they have esim facility? Tried to check as well.. but couldn't find any information... so thought of checking here with a question..

From Tello FAQ: "Unfortunately, Tello does not support eSIMs (embedded sims) right now. We are currently working to provide this option by mid 2022."

So, not yet - but very soon.

Even so, pretty amazing for people on AT&T or Verizon-network based plans with access to eSIM, who can now use this as redundant (secondary/backup/fail-safe) access to the T-Mobile network by making use of their physical SIM slot with a Tello SIM - not bad for Google Fi-esque (yet, potentially larger) combined wireless network coverage, IMO.

Nice for low data users! It gives an option to add a $100 SS credit for $80 while checking out. Does anyone know if you can simply buy the discounted credit first and then use it towards the Tello item?

I'm with Mint now which provides more data (4 gb) which I don't really need and costs more. I have been having a few problems with getting any signal with my 5G phone. I'm wondering how Tello stacks up against Mint as far as reception goes - I guess it depends on your location.

They're both use T-Mobile towers so your 5g issues will be the same. Did you come from a provider like sprint or Verizon and using an Android phone? A lot of times carrier branded phones especially Verizon won't have all the bands needed to get good reception on TMobile network. iPhone doesn't have this issue since their bands are active no matter what carrier sells it.

Currently you can't use SS credit on single line Tello plans, weird quirk.

What is a 'new customer'? I used Tello before, and I have been with Mint for 5 months. Can I get this offer if

(1) I use the same phone number and same online account?
(2) I use the same phone number and open a new online account?
(3) I have to use a different phone number and a new online account?

(3) is not an option actually.

You can keep your number or get a new one, whatever you want.
I've ported back and forth from tello all the time but each time it was a new email. Not sure if you can use an existing email

The answer to 1 and 2 is yes. You just need to establish new line - it can be on an existing account.
