Good deal but Samsung offers OLED panel, 1TB SSD, 16GB ram for $750 (sometimes with/without EDP). Also you get touchscreen, S pen as well, and ofc, bigger screen, 15".

0.66" vs 0.45" thickness. Expect Samsung to have no cooler, but a metal plate and two 10000rpm fans on it. This is all fine if you are a Starbucks user, browsing internet a little bit, one tab maybe, with no heavy web stuff showing. More than that, and it's an airplane in your house...

If there is a good fan control app on the market, maybe you can lower the fans speed, and let CPU throttle itself due to overheating to the level of 5x slower CPU.

I have the 13" GBP 360 and it does have a slim cooler just like any other lightweight, slim laptop. While the cooling is not comparable to a larger, thicker laptop, it does a decent job without being too noisy or pretentious in terms of performance. It's noisy if you compare it to the fanless MacBook Air, sure, but it's way better than the 13" Yoga x390 I have around- just to give you a comparison. And that Yoga is a bit thicker and bulkier than the GBP, and it gets even hotter to the touch.
These are ultra portable laptops. For web browsing, documents and presentations, streaming movies, these laptops are great. If you look for performance, just look elsewhere.
