Why are sunglasses still manufactured without polarized lenses? This should be a staple to any good eyewear.
Polarization isn't always an advantage. Aviation is a common example, where you get cross-polarization with the avionics. Blank gauges. Outdoor instrumentation is often polarized, meaning you won't be able to see that screen on the jobsite.

Because there are situations where you do NOT want polarized lenses. For example, when driving, polarized lenses can adversely effect the way certain dashboard displays look, making some displays impossible to read.

I've ordered from them in the past, just always their last chance deal. From the main page, I don't see anywhere to search their inventory? How do you find deals on their website?
i've ordered from them in the past, as result of deals shared here. I questioned the validity at first, but from what little bit of research I did, seemed legit. the couple of pairs of oakley's I have purchased all seemed legit, and seemed new.

BTW... this price is not that good. Big 5 has Nike sunglasses that are similarly priced. The main difference is that, unlike Eyedictive, Big 5 is an authorized reseller so you actually get a manufacturer's warranty. If you check around online, you can find many other sellers that have similar pricing. These Eyedictive "deals" are highly overrated.

I have been using the Skylon Ace version for over 3 years. Not a scratch. My Oakley pair I had before these, developed numerous scratches in a month or two. No, I don't take any different care. I actually just toss them onto my dash when I am done. Couldn't be happier. I have no need for Polarized, I actually get eye strain while driving long distances with polarized SGs. But too each their own Wink

I don't like Nike enough to have it on my sunglasses but deal looks good for those who don't care. Or really like Nike.

I got the "Nike Tour Rectangle Classic w/ Max Optic Lenses". Not sure if it's just me. While it fits perfectly, maybe too perfectly, it get show closed to my eyes and causes condensation. I have to conciously pull the glasses out a bit after putting it on to create some gap between my face. No matter how I adjust it, it would still get too close.

This vendor is a Slickdeals affiliate. The other vendors you listed or know may not be. Hence, you will always see these "deals".

I ordered Nike sunglasses from them a few weeks ago. Arrived via US Mail in just a few days - brand new unopened condition.

The $36 Nike shades I bought a few week ago were a good deal for me vs. my local Big 5...no tax, free shipping and didn't have drive there to settle for the only pair in the case at B5.

On the other hand... the one you bought from Eyedictive was an obsolete and discontinued style, whereas the one at Big 5 is a current style (Eyedictive is an online liquidator that specializes in purchasing discontinued inventory and selling it at a discount). Also, since Eyedictive is not an authorized reseller, there is no manufacturer warranty. Once you take these factors into account, you may have actually overpaid buying from Eyedictve.

Of course, value is in the eye of the individual consumer. As long as you are happy with your purchase, I guess that's all that matters.
