Not all of them…. The ones made in Oregon are far more superior and I highly recommend them. USA Kershaw knives are my favorite knife and I carry one everyday.
8Cr13MoV is an instant indicator that the knife was made in China. It's exclusively a Chinese-made steel used by many Chinese manufacturers. Regardless, it's a fine budget steel in this price range.
Also there's a notable difference in price from the ones made in China vs USA. My US Kershaw has a US have a flag stamped on the blade.

First part of product description on item page:
"The updated Secret Agent, from reliable knife maker Kershaw in Tualatin, Oregon, claims a breath-catching model number: 4 007. Appropriately designated, it is lightweight at 3.0 ounces, yet heavy duty and indestructible for tactical use, personal protection, outdoor jobs and recreational tasks related to scuba diving, fishing, hunting and camping. "
They do have a few models made in Japan and China, but the majority are made from locations in the United States.
I have half a dozen Kershaw knives, the nicer models are USA made (leek, for example $40ish) but the cheap ones are Chinese.
This is a $50 knife selling for just under $26. You're not going to get top of the line for this price, but there is a lot of positive feedback about this knife as a boot knife. This isn't a typical EDC knife that you're going to use for cutting rope. It's for stabbing stuff (hopefully not other people).

What else could you possibly need to stab? I can't think of a single time I have used my EDC in a stabbing manner
Can you show me your source that shows it's made in China? Also, what spear point would you recommend instead for $30 or less that beats out this Kershaw?
Today (since 1977), Kershaw is fully owned by the Kai Group that is headquartered in Tokyo. Originally, Kershaw were all made in Japan and some of those early knives are quite collectible. No Kershaw knives were produced in the USA until 1997.

Just because it comes from a reliable company in the US, it doesn't mean it's made there. Ask Apple.
Looked it up on Kershaw[kaiusa.com]. Design and quality control are handled in the USA. Manufacturing is in China. Knife has a limited lifetime warranty.
Not bad for the price. Has very positive reviews on some of the knife handler's on YT.
The steel type is a giveaway on the COO. 3cr, 7cr, 8cr et al= Made in China. Kershaw generally if not always has an American flag on the current Made in Oregon USA knives. I have 4.

For Kershaw, when made in USA, 'USA' is stamped on blade. Knife Center [knifecenter.com], Cutlery Shoppe [cutleryshoppe.com], etc. all say this 4007 is made in China.
