Samsung has an elevated trade-in currently as well, but they are only offering $375 on my Note 10.

This is from experience without testing. I don't have quantifiable data, just a subjective opinion.
I moved from a note20 ultra to S22 Ultra and have not been burdened with the lack of battery. The S22 Ultra much like the note 20 Ultra would last me the entire day, 8 am to 9pm, with heavy usage. Day trade, reading, research and music. However, I am not on social media or watch online videos like youtube.
If i use the phone lightly; maps, readying. The S22 ultra would last me 2 days and possible to the end of the 2nd day without a charge. The Note20 Ultra would last the second day.

As many have said, this is a mess. I went to the store on Sunday, showed them this page, they had no idea how to get this trade in value and told me they couldn't help. I reached out to best buy support and they have me some bullshit that the page says 'up to' and the real value could be anything, to be determined at the store. Overall, awful experience.

yeah, this is bs, wasted my time. I added a s22 in the cart with a s10 128g trade in and it only gave me $100. I chose s10 512g option for trade in again, same, $100.

Samsung.com gave me $550 for my Note 10, 2 days ago but for 22 Ultra. My battery somehow has started to discharge fast, 83% after 3 hrs with only a 15 min phone call and couple of texts, so had to get rid of it.

In many ways the Google Fi deal is better, but rather than a trade-in, it requires a number port. Plus, either Fi doesn't maintain any stock for fulfillment or they have very little stock, because many who have ordered are waiting weeks after the initial estimated arrival date.

Decent deal to compete with Samsung.com's deal. Keep in mind:
  • WorkingAdvantage/ID.me discounts work on Samsung.com, they don't on BB
  • Samsung.com sometimes includes mobile activation charges as part of the deal if your phone isn't unlocked. BB might keep you on the hook for those fees.
  • Samsung offers $50-$200 accessory credit. Obviously it's overpriced but still shouldn't be dismissed since it's enough to get a new case and super high speed charger for free.
This is just my observation with an S20 on Tmo and could be better/worse depending on each person's situation, but since BB and Samsung.com have almost the exact same final cost for me, I'm sticking with Samsung for the activation fee inclusion and accessories. I know some people never want to deal with Samsung.com at all, and in that case this seems like a worthwhile alternative.

Agreed. If t-mobile works for you then fi is better. About same price without trade in and phone gets shipped to your door. Already received s22 ultra and pixel 5a. S22 is delayed but i still have a few months left of tmo device credit. Sold note 20 ultra, that I got from fi a couple years ago, on swappa which just about covers the out of pocket for s22 ultra. Will do the same with s21 when the 22 gets here. 6 months from now port away to get more devices. A little bit of work but fun to get new stuff.

Best Buy Inventory is pretty picked over in my area. Otherwise I would consider this over Samsung offer

Att recently had $800 credit for any galaxy device making the 128gb s22 free, the sales rep online or over the phone can also be persuaded to eliminate the 30 dollar upgrade fee. I traded in a broken screen s7 active for a phantom white one like a week ago.
