I peeked at the promotion flyer while the employee was looking at it. Date shows 4/4 - 7/3 on the top of the title, so I am assuming this promo will last till July.

Let us know how it goes.
1.traded iphone xr for zflip via in-store pick up.
2.went to another store and traded the zflip for the S22 ultra .As previously mentioned, this part has to be done in two separate transactions.First,do the trade in and BB will issue a gift card for 800$.Second ,use the gift card to purchase the S22 ultra.
3.In order to find Zflip3 ,ask BB dude/dudette to look for it via SKU .Since mine is Tmobile 128gb phantom black, SKU is: 6472882.Should be straight forward from there.
hope this helps.

The breakthrough came when she realized that the trade in promo is completely separate from a phone purchase. So we started over, and she rang up a stand-alone trade in. It was through this process that she was able to select and apply the Samsung trade-in promotion, which results in the correct promo balance being applied to a gift card. Then the POS was triggered to ring up a phone purchase, and allowed for the activation savings to be applied, and then allowing the gift card to be applied toward the purchase.

If it's anything like T-Mobile, they should make you sign a contract along the way when you navigate it.
Did you at least choose monthly payment plan when you started?

This is the offer. Already bought and activated the s22+, went through tradein and nowhere does it say anything about bill credits or getting more than the trade value of the phone which is $34... no $800 showing. CS useless per usual.

Eventually, I like "I'll just try again another day" and the employee had me come behind the counter so they could that there was no promotional code popping up and then they exited the whole thing and started it again and after signing in and out and not using my account details the whole thing worked out. So yeah, as previously mentioned in this thread a few times they need to process the trade-in first and then it gives them a prompt to add a phone to the purchase.
Regardless, it was worth the wait. I purchased a Z Flip 5G for $380 on eBay and traded it for $800 towards an AT&T upgrade for the Z Flip 3 which for some reason was $750 instead of the $800 the website said it would be, so the gift card covered the full amount and tax.
When you get to the store, they'll process the trade in first to generate your gift card.
And then, assuming you shipped to home, they'll have to do a return + rebuy on your new phone to apply the GC. If you have it shipped to store, they can just cancel the order and skip the return portion. Which is probably easier and less sketchy.
Your plan requires a lot of manual intervention on the part of the store reps and probably managers... and is probably stretching the rules a little bit. Add to that the fact that the majority of BB reps are entirely clueless on both how to do this promo AND the actual rules of the promo(s) (the system will allow a lot of things that's against the fine print), and you've got a recipe for disaster.
Oh, and if the trade in promo gets pulled before you go to do your trade in, you're basically SOL.
Good luck.

You need to talk to Verizon reps to see if the promo has been properly applied to your account. (I'm not super familiar with Verizon bill credit offers - can they even see that right now? Or do you have to wait weeks for the system to add it?) And if not, then why?
Even the phone is traded in directly to Verizon...
