I peeked at the promotion flyer while the employee was looking at it. Date shows 4/4 - 7/3 on the top of the title, so I am assuming this promo will last till July.

When you get to the store, they'll process the trade in first to generate your gift card.
And then, assuming you shipped to home, they'll have to do a return + rebuy on your new phone to apply the GC. If you have it shipped to store, they can just cancel the order and skip the return portion. Which is probably easier and less sketchy.
Your plan requires a lot of manual intervention on the part of the store reps and probably managers... and is probably stretching the rules a little bit. Add to that the fact that the majority of BB reps are entirely clueless on both how to do this promo AND the actual rules of the promo(s) (the system will allow a lot of things that's against the fine print), and you've got a recipe for disaster.
Oh, and if the trade in promo gets pulled before you go to do your trade in, you're basically SOL.
Good luck.
I had to show the rep how to apply the promo, just didn't have one in store for us to buy at the moment.

best buy used fed ex. i contacted best buy and they'll send a replacement but i feel like the same thing is going to happen. this was an unlocked phone. best buy should be able to blacklist the IMEI, right? t mobile said they couldn't do anything about it.
blacklisting a phone just means you can't activate it with any carrier, right? it doesn't brick the phone?

As for when you trade in your ZF3, please don't show up to store and hand it over still in box. Just looks bad. Take the phone out, remove plastic cover, put fingerprint smudges all over it, then it's ready to trade in. Keep the box and the cool USB C cord, etc. Just take in the phone.
Keep the sim that was taped to box for possible future use.

the $300 off unlocked version of S22+/U no longer shows up on BB.
The $499 ZF3 on T-Mobile is still active.
The Samsung elevated trade in promo towards unlocked phones (i.e. $800 TIV for ZF3) does still show up on BB. The link page itself might show up for days after the deal is over, but if the blue "trade offer" link bar above the unlocked phone's product page (which directs you to that link offer page) still shows up, it should still be active when you go into store that day to do the deal.
Let me know if you still see the $300 off unlocked S22U phones. . .
Once they do the above, it will show say $600 for ZF3 trade in, with a huge promo box in middle of screen, can't miss it, in which they simply need to enter SAMSUNG, and the value of that phone then jumps to $800.
Really, the big effort is going outside the most basic trade box terms and searching, not the SAMSUNG promo box part. Ironically, if they know to do the former, they know to do the latter. All or nothing

He advised us to order a phone to our local store without attaching it to any carrier, then just cancel the order when it arrives and re-buy with trade-in/activation offer. We did that but obviously it won't return now, unless they somehow bring the offer back between now and when the phone arrives (estimated June 4). They just had zero stock of the s21/s21+ at any of the stores around here.

Is the S22 Ultra for $900 at Bestbuy the best deal out there for me? I want the phone to be unlocked, and I want to buy the phone out right. Oh, and I'm an android user for life! LOL!
Any help is great appreciated.
