I miss the old SD days where those of us who have been around for a while were able to voice our opinion without some low rank trying to make an argument out of it.
With that said, pretty sure the simple IKEA desk beats this in quality and almost matches the price.
Walmart furniture is no bueno.

Looks like bad ergonomics, your monitor is too low and the shelf means you can never get it to a proper height.

You seem like a fun guy at parties. These days you can barely get a meal with 35 bucks, never mind a desk
I can get a full meal for 2 bucks in Thailand.

But what if there is no ikea near you? Cope or spend shipping prices?

I find IKEA expensive for the most part. A long time ago their meals used to be dirt cheap. I'm guessing so people don't feel rushed to go home and refuel. I was a kid so I ain't pay much attention to the furniture pricing but it seemed cheap. A lot cheaper than it is now for sure. I think their brand awareness and increased traffic contributed to their price increase at a rate much higher than inflation.

Anyway, I agree with you with IKEA's quality in furniture being better than Walmart's.

That's a toss up. Craigslist's and OfferUp may have something reasonably priced. They always have stuff overpriced.

I only find something useful at goodwill every five trips. I don't usually go their looking for anything in particular.

If you're spending 35 bucks for a meal then you probably don't belong on SD just sayin
It is thanks to SD that I can occasionally spend $35 or more on a meal...
