The RavPower Wireless Charging Pad is only 10W. Only the wall plug is 20W. The pad only works on Apple. For Android you have to use the wall plug.

between 10w and 25w, there's not much difference in terms of its effects on the battery health. the key is not to overcharge at above 85% capacity and phones these days do that automatically without your input. another factor is heat but again, thats usually controlled by the phone these days so you dont have to really worry about it.

Heat kills batteries, if the phone isn't lined up perfectly, more heat will be generated.

I bought a wireless charging pad with a fan built in off of Amazon. The one I got is no longer available but there are others with cooling fans for sale.

Just a heads up. These are not ideal on a night stand as these make a faint hissing sound while charging. These also get hotter than an old anker wireless pad I have.

Of it's a Qi charging pad it will work for any Qo compatible device. The magnetic part is only for Apple Magsafe. But you correct on the wattage

Yeah probably the coils whining (high frequency whine at that), but the hotpart is concerning. I have a 10w desk led lamp charging pad combo and I gets no heat no whine from it...yeah I'll pass....

All my phones hit 40c on the battery when monitored using ampere. Don't want to ruin my battery on a $500 phone. Advice??
