I am interested in this deal but don't know how the service will be in my area. Say I buy this phone and get a new number from TF. Can I later decide to transfer my phone number on my old cell with my present carrier to this TF phone and replace the number on this TF phone? If yes, how would I do that?

Me: I'm looking at buying one of your phones from QVC. I want to activate with you and get a new number. About a month later, I would like to transfer my existing phone number to this Tracfone plan and phone. Is it possible to transfer a phone number this way? This would be on prepaid plan.
TF: Yes it is possible. Once you are ready all you have to do is contact us again and we'l take care of the process for you.
Should I believe them?

Man. This comment brought me back to my ebay days when I resold TracFone devices that I got for free with 1+ year subscriptions. While I'm glad you asked before purchasing, some people lie and claim the device don't work b/c of user error on fleabay... I only purchase refills now lol.
