Step 1) Buy LG V30 on eBay for $50 in flawless condition

Step 2) Root it and install Android 11 on it

Step 3) Enjoy all the features it has that are better than the Nord N200

Step 4) Instead of buying a yearly plan for ~$15/month through an MVNO, pay T-Mobile ludicrous amounts for their garbage plans so you can get a statement credit and a new Oneplus Nord N200.

Hard pass.

You'll still have to pay shipping and tax on the new phone. Comes out to $20-$30 depending on your sales tax. Just FYI

If it matters, I am on a T-Mobile Connect Prepaid $15/month plan.
That's why the requirements are different.

Do you (or anyone else) know if there's a limit to account level promos? For example, can an account with 8 lines have something crazy like 32 account-level promos plus 8 line-level promos at the same time?
Try it and let us know. That means you have to pay off a lot of phones ahead of time, and wait for monthly credits.

Anyone else suck on the "trade in this device" page? I click the "trade in this device" button and it doesn't do anything. Tried on both Firefox and Edge.

Yes this happened to me. I ended up reaching out to T-force and they placed the order for me. Gave me free shipping too and waived the $30 assistance fee because it was not my fault I couldn't place the order online.

Lol, some of us pay less than $15 per line for Magenta Max. So for me, everything you said above is garbage. I grab these "free with any trade" phones just to have as backup or to use as wifi devices around the house. Since I'm on MMax, and not an MVNO, I also grab free with trade flagship phones as well. Since I feel I have a good deal on my plan, I never go griping about bill credits or being locked down for 24 months. . .as it doesn't matter to me
How do you pay 15 p/m on mmax? Sharing is caring...

Nice, gonna jump on this. Was actually looking for a half-decent mid-range phone to replace my V60 that's been giving me issues. I'll just have to dig up an old phone or two that I have sitting around in a drawer at home.

Been with T-Mobile for ~8 years now and have been satisfied. Don't see any reason for switching anytime soon, and it wouldn't be a big deal to pay off a hundred bucks or two if we ever did decide to change carriers.

Thanks OP, repped.

Fwiw, I received a specific SMS from TMO offering this on a prepaid line. The SMS mentioned the cell number and device IMEI. I have a second prepaid line, it didn't get the offer.

9+ lines and free lines. I'm paying about $12/line. Back when I was on One, I was averaging less than $10 after kickback.

How about your monthly bill from Tmobile?

With so many promotional credit, the bill could be negative ?

I have 7 lines, with 18 account level promotion credits now. 3 still not paid in full. But now the monthly charge is close to 0.

Edit: not that bad
