Many will want to use this offer to swap out the old phones sitting in their desk drawers. Here is the best way to do it, avoiding activation fees and out of stock stores.
1. Locate your trade in phone. Ensure it does not have a cracked screen, and that it turns on. Factory reset it. Write down the IMEI number, make, model, and color. This can be any phone as long as it meets these conditions, even candy bar from 1999.
2. Call TMobile (dial 611). Say "activation"
3. Inform the CS that you want to take advantage of the OnePlus Nord 200 5G trade in offer. Specify which line, and provide CS the details in step #1. Request that the activation fee be waived.
4. Provide a CC# to pay for the tax (~$20).
5. You will get an email for a JUMP! lease. Open it in DocuSign, and sign it. ENSURE that the details are correct - Nord 200 5G in exchange for the exact phone you detailed in #1. After signing, you will get a confirmation email and tracking #. You will also get a shipping label (see below if you don't get it in your email). Print the whole document in color as directed, or print just the shipping label in B&W and see step #6.
6. When the Nord 200 5G arrives, use the same box (so you don't have to print the lithium battery warning label in color - there's one on it) and put your old phone in. Make sure that it is fully charged, that it is wiped, and if it is an Apple device, that you have disabled device tracking. Remember to remove your sim card, and any SD memory cards. You do NOT need to include cables or chargers. Alternatively, see step #7.
7. You can also go to an Tmobile Store (not authorized dealer). Inform them of where you are on the promotion, and tell them that you would like to turn the phones in to them in person. Ask them to look up your account and verify with you that these are the same phones by IMEI. Do not leave without a receipt for each phone you turn in, and save that receipt.
The way it works:
- You pay tax
- You get new phone
- You turn in old phone
- Each month you get a $9 charge
- Each month you get a $9 credit.
For shipping label, you have to login to your t-mobile account and then go to this specific link: https://my.t-mobile.com/myphone/c...trackorder

Step 2) Root it and install Android 11 on it
Step 3) Enjoy all the features it has that are better than the Nord N200
Step 4) Instead of buying a yearly plan for ~$15/month through an MVNO, pay T-Mobile ludicrous amounts for their garbage plans so you can get a statement credit and a new Oneplus Nord N200.
Hard pass.

With so many promotional credit, the bill could be negative ?
I have 7 lines, with 18 account level promotion credits now. 3 still not paid in full. But now the monthly charge is close to 0.
Edit: not that bad

Essentially T-Mobile lending us the $216 and asking us to make 24 monthly payments of $9.
With each monthly payment, instead of us paying an additional $9, they apply a "promo credit" of $9 to cancel it out?
So we shouldn't see any change to our monthly bill right?
Have been with T-Mobile for a LONG time (20+ years. Hey, they've worked out for me), but used an old Samsung S4 with a prepaid card in it for a 3rd line of "whatever" usage. Got a text on it back in Feb (March?) mentioning to trade in the older phone for a FREE OnePlus 5G phone because of them discontinuing the 3G coverage etc...
Went into a local store, they had to call/look it up, as it is a new Deal and not everyone gets it (guess only pre-paid sim cards/accounts and older phones). But, they put the sim card into the new phone (FYI, the New phone comes WITH a Sim Card in the box! (TMobile card. And the new box also has a wall charger + cable too.) So they shouldn't charge you for one), they set it up and NO charge or fee's at all !!! (Zero cost) Not sure if that is because I'm a LONG time customer, or was their normal procedure.
It did take a more knowledgeable guy a while to figure a way out, to transfer the Contacts from the old S4 to the new OnePlus. Had to do it through Bluetooth I believe.
Yes, the Nord N200 is a budget phone but, It's highly rated for what it is (online and from the store employees), and is more than capable for those that only need a PHONE, not a gaming pad etc. Stick Out Tongue Not much bloatware on it that I can tell. Removed the McAfee but it is tied into Google a lot! (are all phone this way now?)

Similar to the deal I got on Sprint for having a Moto G5+ on the line. . .free pixel 6, no trade in, no tax, no sim fee, no bill credits. Free, Free, and free and clear. . .while others with newer phones on their lines got "free" pixel 6 etc. offer with trade in of their current phone, through bill credits, and tax on MSRP due. Don't expect another deal like to happen until the 4G gets shut down, long time, but it was a nice one timer bonus!

-Trade in any undamaged, functioning cell phone.
-Purchase a new OnePlus N200 5G on a monthly payment plan and pay applicable sales tax on pre-credit price at time of purchase.
-Receive 24 monthly bill credits totaling $216.00.
-A $30 assisted or upgrade support charge may be required.
For me, that is $15 tax + $30 support fee (if not waived) = $45 for the N200.
And don't forget the 2 year commitment...not a great deal IMHO
