Step 1) Buy LG V30 on eBay for $50 in flawless condition

Step 2) Root it and install Android 11 on it

Step 3) Enjoy all the features it has that are better than the Nord N200

Step 4) Instead of buying a yearly plan for ~$15/month through an MVNO, pay T-Mobile ludicrous amounts for their garbage plans so you can get a statement credit and a new Oneplus Nord N200.

Hard pass.

You'll still have to pay shipping and tax on the new phone. Comes out to $20-$30 depending on your sales tax. Just FYI

The deal you mention is different, and much better, than this one. You got the targeted offer because the phone on the line will not be compatible on their network come the summer.
Similar to the deal I got on Sprint for having a Moto G5+ on the line. . .free pixel 6, no trade in, no tax, no sim fee, no bill credits. Free, Free, and free and clear. . .while others with newer phones on their lines got "free" pixel 6 etc. offer with trade in of their current phone, through bill credits, and tax on MSRP due. Don't expect another deal like to happen until the 4G gets shut down, long time, but it was a nice one timer bonus!
ahhhh.... ok, got it! That Pixel 6 is much better than the OnePlus for sure. Thanks for the info though!

I actually wasn't able to do the online order on my own because of website issues. I contacted Tforce and they placed the order for me. And older phones will like have $0 trade in value (mine did), and that's ok. This means the promotional credit will be the full value of the phone spread into 24 months (i.e., $9/mo) so that it still comes out free.
How do you contact Tforce?

In for TWO!

Had to call T-Mobile to get the offer to work. The CSR (Customer Service Rep) got the $30 service fee waived, as I should have been able to do the offer online myself.

Only cost me $27.51 = $20.52 (sales tax) + $6.99 (shipping).
Traded in two Verizon phones, just collecting dust: Samsung Note4, Samsung Galaxy S5.

Honestly it was $50 for the free phone for me but this is probably the worst phone I've ever had. I was one of those "why not people". The camera is garbage it feels like I was back in the mid 2000s again. If I had hindsight I'd wait for black Friday or find another alternative.

For people considering this - I have a One Plus 9. I'm not a huge fan of their software. Weird issues with audio settings, the launcher crashes, whole phone frequently freezes, notifications are often very delayed and I'll get them all at once, even when I'm on WiFi.

I've tried the usual (factory reset, etc.) I think it's just the software. I've put ROMs on phones in the past. I'm just at the point where I want stuff that works out of the box, so this is just a heads up for people considering any One Plus. YMMV and it's a different model, but I've not been impressed with their software.

Lol, some of us pay less than $15 per line for Magenta Max. So for me, everything you said above is garbage. I grab these "free with any trade" phones just to have as backup or to use as wifi devices around the house. Since I'm on MMax, and not an MVNO, I also grab free with trade flagship phones as well. Since I feel I have a good deal on my plan, I never go griping about bill credits or being locked down for 24 months. . .as it doesn't matter to me
Tutorial?

Will this work if you have other promos/credit on the line?
Yes. Just as long as the first EIP is paid off
