Amex Offers Spend $50 or more, get $25 back. Up to 3 times (total of $75). Google Fi - Mobile Phone Plan
YMMV- May be for select account.
OFFER TERMS
Enrollment limited. Must first add offer to Card and then use same Card to redeem. Only U.S.-issued American Express® Cards are eligible. Limit 1 enrolled Card per Card Member across all American Express offer channels. Your enrollment of an eligible American Express Card for this offer extends only to that Card. Offer valid for Google Fi purchases only. Valid online only at fi.google.com and app via Android devices only. Valid only on purchases made in US Dollars. Excludes all other Google products and services. Please note if you purchase a subscription, unless you notify the merchant that you want to pause, cancel, or that you do not want to auto renew, your subscription will automatically renew for another subscription period (subject to applicable law) of equal length (for example monthly, or annually). This means that the merchant will collect the then-applicable subscription fee and any taxes by charging a credit card the merchant has on record for you without notifying you, unless notification is required by applicable law. American Express identifies qualifying transactions based on information provided by the participating merchant. Offer is non-transferable. Limit of 3 statement credits (total of $75 back) per Card Member. You may not receive the statement credit if we receive inaccurate information or are otherwise unable to identify your purchase as qualifying for the offer. For example, you may not receive the statement credit if (a) the merchant uses a third-party to sell their products or services; or (b) the merchant uses a third-party to process or submit your transaction to us (e.g., using mobile or wireless card readers); or (c) you choose to make a purchase using a third-party payment account or make a purchase using a mobile or digital wallet. Purchases may fall outside of the offer period in some cases due to a delay in merchants submitting transactions to us or if the purchase date differs from the date you made the transaction (for example, the purchase date for online orders may be the shipping date). Statement credit will appear on your billing statement within 90 days after 9/2/2022, provided that American Express receives information from the merchant about your qualifying purchase. Note that American Express may not receive information about your qualifying purchase from merchant until all items/services from your qualifying purchase have been shipped/provided by merchant. Statement credit may be reversed if qualifying purchase is returned/cancelled. If American Express does not receive information that identifies your purchase as qualifying for the offer, you will not receive the statement credit. Limit 1 enrolled Card per American Express Card online account. The enrolled Card account must be active, not past due, canceled, or have a returned payment outstanding to receive statement credits. Any benefit earned from this offer is in addition to the rewards (i.e. Membership Rewards or cash back) earned as part of your existing Card benefits, but your ability to earn spend-based rewards for the purchase will be based on the amount after any statement credit or other discount is applied. Amex Offers are dynamic and personalized, so the offers you see may change. For questions regarding your Card Account, please call the number on the back of your Card. By adding an offer to a Card, you agree that American Express may send you communications about the offer. POID: K3HS:0001

Add 100+. Literally added 111 offers for Google Fi and Dell to FINALLY show up. I was never even aware of this "hack", I always just assumed if you look and it's not on there you weren't targeted, but sure enough, adding a ton of offers leaves room for new offers to appear. I just about gave up after adding 80, but tried over 100 and finally it appeared!!
To make an early payment:

Go to pay.google.com.
Click Subscriptions & services.
On your active Google Fi service, click Manage and then Pay early.

I just did it and have not received an Amex notification... though with these types of deals I typically do not. Can't say 100% sure if it works, I'll update if I see a credit.

I can't tell if the deal counts the service charge or just specifically ordering multiple phones... which I did a week ago before this offer Frown

Update:
Fi Prepay works perfectly, I was credited today. Incredible deal.
I had to add about 20 offers to finally see it. I'm not understanding why Amex can't fix this in 2022.

To be clear, you made a single payment for phone and it triggered all three $25 credits? You received verification from Amex that all three credits are credited?

Can confirm that a phone purchase triggers all 3 credits. Which means I guess I tried to prepay Fi $50 for no reason and that was a waste.

I have a trade in for part of the Phone purchase ($238 back to amex). Hopefully it doesn't strip the credits.
If the $238 trade-in credit negates that much of the $318 purchase price, at least the $50 prepay will bump it back up to $130 to get 2 x $25 credits.

It also shows an additional $50 payment to Google Fi, and appears to be incomplete.

as a google fi postpaid customer, if i added this offer to my amex card, made it my default the same amex card as my payment method before my next payment cycle, this card would be charged and i would get a $25 statement credit. Right? Also i can get 2 such subsequent statement credits (totaling $75) before 9/2 right?

The additional $50 payment is his prepaid amount. It's a "red herring" and has nothing to do with the $75 credit that he earned from the phone purchase (because that $50 prepaid at most would earn him only $25 credit).

Right. I bought the phone on May 12, activated it on May 14. It told me I had a first bill on May 16, so I also prepaid $50 on May 14.

But the 3 credits are off the phone purchase on May 12.

But the 3 credits are off the phone purchase on May 12.
I ordered my S22 on 4/22 before the Amex offer became available. When the Amex offer came out on May 2, I changed the card on file from Wells Fargo to Amex. Although the purchase wasn't actually charged until May 8, Google Fi still charged the phone purchase to W.F. instead of Amex Mad. At least I made a $51 prepayment on May 14 and should get $25 credit.

That's how it usually works with most merchants. When you place an order, they authorize your credit card for that amount, and then convert that into a charge. So I would have expected the credit card you used when you placed the order to be charged. The only time you can expect a new card "on file" to be charged is for a recurring purchase like a subscription.

Can someone tell me what the tax + svc fees will be? I got the $20 flexible plan (1 line) and got $25.06 in monthly bill. I want to take advantage of the $25 Fi credit and curious if cost will be $35month ? As should I factor 20% in taxes and fee approximately. I am in WA

Any way to take advantage multiple AMEX offers? I have one in mine and another in my wife's account. Pay the phone using two cards?
