That's good to know because back in February I installed a WD Black SN850 2TB in my PS5 :-)
It was on sale on Newegg and I had to bite. Props to Sony for making it SO EASY to install. I didn't want to bother with 1TB because a big chunk gets blocked away for the system, so I opted to wait for 2TB to go on sale. I'm sure prices will be better for Black Friday.
