I was able to find a 1 month on Eneba for around 42 bucks.
It looks like the cutover date for playstation plus to the new arrangement is June 13.
So do I technically wait until around May 15th to redeem since it's only a 1 month sub?
You can currently redeem a code to sign up for a service you currently are not a subscriber to. So you are good to go and would get the appropriate value of your 3 month code no matter when you decided to use it.
Your situation does not apply to what is being discussed in this thread, which is how to convert our existing subscriptions to the future Premium version of PlayStation Plus that is like Xbox Game Pass.

Yes. Timing wise, during the week of May 15 is ideal to redeem a one month ps now code for us in this thread.
Also, assuming Sony does not infiltrate SD and shut down their code redemption system immediately to screw us. You could always redeem the code now and pay another $9.99 plus tax when the PS now auto renew kicks in next month.
