Great turntable but I would recommend replacing the cartridge with at least an Ortofon Red or equivalent. Also if you don't need the headphones, I have seen this turntable dip down to as low as 199.99 at certain times on Amazon and other retailers.

Snagged one, thanks! I've had my eye out for a beginner turntable and this beats out the LP60 I was looking at in specs, plug gives me a dedicated set of cans for it for almost nothing.

If you want great closed back headphones and an entry level TT, this seems like a very decent deal. Upgrade the TT later and keep the headphones, win-win. Smilie

I used to own this turntable. It is an excellent starter deck. An extra headshell is around $25 if you want to run two cartridges. I agree that a Ortofon 2m Red is a nice upgrade and make this useable for a long time. I am glad to see actual deals on audio gear returning. For a while there it was basically just a bit below the newly inflated MSRP's.

I completed the purchase, it shows the full price on buydig, however when I look at my transactions on my paypal account I see the discount ($60 off). The email I received from buydig does not show the discount though…

Anyone familiar with buydig's return policy? Do they charge a restocking fee?

Edit: I want to return the first order because that one didn't have the paypal discount, they ship really quickly so I couldn't cancel it on time.
