I bought one in 2016 and have used it daily since. No issues here. Would recommend.

Bought it last September for $40. Not bad, does its job. Of course, the "sprinkler" is not quite uniform and drips hot water mostly around center. Sometimes I saw dry coffee patches toward the edges and had to stir the grounds a little bit. But that's kinda expected from the low- to mid-priced coffee makers. Uniform dripping and optimal temperature usually starts past $100.

This has been my drip coffee go-to for 7 years. Still going strong with no issues at all.

Agreed..so I take the coffee pot out from the base and just let the water fill the coffee reservoir, stir and let all the grounds bloom. Replace the pot back in the base to let drip. A little extra effort but worth it imo. Just don't walk away before replacing the pot!

Just to state the obvious, when doing this, don't let the water rise above the filter. Otherwise it'll overflow the grounds into the basin and then into the pot. Be careful when you peek in on the water level because it'll spit a little bit when you lift the top too high as it runs. You can also press the on/off button to stop the pump once the water is almost to the top of the filter when it's time to stir or even in-between peeks so you dont get spit on.
I understand this method takes a little out of the set and forget advantage of drip coffee but it definitely makes a noticeable difference and you're not left with dry wasted grounds in the filter.

I've had mine for 4 years now and it still works great for a modestly priced coffee maker.
