Press Windows Key + X to open the quick access menu.
Select Device Manager. ...
Double-click the Human Interface Devices heading to expand the list of devices within.
Right-click on HID-compliant touch screen and select Disable device.

This, by far. The Go has it's uses with the small size, and it has excellent build quality, but this is a more serious device for whatever task you throw at it.

This will work, but to be clear, this only disables the software response of the touchscreen. The hardware of the touchscreen is still active and drawing power causing lower battery life when compared to a non-touchscreen model.
