I bought this from the last time a deal was posted, and my dog hasn't destroyed it yet. I think a dog toy's resilience is pretty highly individualized. My dog tends to destroy stuffed animal toys, though Mr. Alligator is still doing well.
don't get this, I bought this last week and my dog split it after the first bite.
This happened to me too.. These are basically two rubber hemispheres glued together. Garbage. Regular tennis balls are much better.

Yup. I was getting the medium tennis ball type and my dog kept splitting them in a day or two. I get the medium Chuck it balls that are rubber to use with the launchers and those she don't destroy.
Our mini poodles fetches with these for about an hour combined daily for a few months now. Have had no issues so far. They are dirty but still fully intact. Our dog regularly destroys toys but not these.
For those who may not know, these are not real TENNIS balls. Get tennis balls at the sports store. The rubber is much better and should last a very, very, very long time unless your dog is a power chewer. Every pet tennis ball I've had crumbles relatively quickly and it's not the same material as a sports tennis ball.
Also for those who may have a chuckit thrower, sports tennis balls are the medium size. If you have the Kong large ball (I think it's large size), that would be the large chuckit thrower that would fit that

Agree. My 40lb labradoodle destroyed them in a week. But the medium and large balls are holding up fine
I was interested until I ready the 1st 10 reviews listed. All were 1 star stating the ball only lasted for 1-3 throws. No thanks.
I have a toy poodle, small jaw, weak bit force.
My dog likes to bite the ball some, but really likes to de-fur the ball (rip the fuzz off). The ball will begin to split where the two halves are glued, but still useable. The balls seem to last about 3-4weeks for me. I vote just get ONE (two-pack) for $1.50 + tax; cheapest expense for your dog's happiness.
ChuckIt has redesigned the SMALL ball where it seems to be made completely of rubber, NO fur/felt. I purchased it the other day and its fine; you will probably like this one better. Can't comment on longevity as I've only had it for one day. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00280M...=UTF8&th=1
My dog is 20 lbs and loves the small Kong tennis balls. These should work and at only $1.50 for two, is great. She prefers the felt-covered balls vs the just rubber balls.
These are junk and rip easier than standard tennis balls. Get the ChuckIt Ultra balls that are thick rubber and hold up a very long time unless your dog is a really voracious chewer. The medium Ultra balls work with the ChuckIt and hold up for years in my experience. They also make a glow-in-the-dark variety that whistles when thrown.
Probably my fault for ordering the small size. I'm returning them because I worry about my 30 pound dogs choking on them because they are just a bit larger than a golf ball. I've bought the tennis ball size ones before and they held up great.
