100% back in Bonus Rewards on Duracell Coppertop AA/AAA 16-pk & 24-pk Batteries valid only at officedepot.com and in store from 5/8/22 to 5/21/22 11:59 PM ET or while supplies last, whichever occurs first. Rewards are limited to 2 items per member. This offer cannot be combined with other Bonus Rewards offers on the same or similar products and services.
There is a 20% off coupon
70362481 which will reduce your out-of-pocket expense and still keep the purchase over $10 for recycling.
Not certain if code would work in the stores. If it will they would not stack with a PM. So a PM is usually your best price.
Price matching is possible with Amazon, Walmart, and possibly other local stores with proof.
Can buy batteries online or in-store, In-store does price match. Not certain if a CSR would by phone though. They also won't likely stack a price match and the coupon with a call if they allow a PM.
Wondering why this is a deal? This helps those using OD/OM rewards with recycling benefits to spend the minimum $10 monthly out-of-pocket to qualify to recycle up to 10 carts.
Remember: Rewards issued only for actual out-of-pocket expense. They normally hit your account within 48 hours. Must use rewards number when purchasing to get rewards.

Also you only have to pay the best price you can match it to in the store as mentioned earlier. It saves you out of pocket and lowers rewards, but I do it every time. Amazon or WM are my go tos.

Room temp, dark place. If they leak I just pitch them.
And since they are Duracell, expect them to leak. I never buy Duracell since they often leak and ruin whatever they are in.
EDIT: reading more carefully it appears that its only good for actual out of pocket expense.

Was planning on buying and using reward to buy more batteries in future deals since these come up time to time. I guess that won't work
Burnnnnnnn
My experience over 30 plus years of getting them is I have had a few unopened packs get some leaky ones within a couple of years. Seldom sooner, usually not at all.
Edit: The leakage is not actually battery acid. But it can still be caustic to equipment. Almost always something that has not permanently damaged my items, but YMMV based on amount of leakage, sensitivity and how long you leave them in without using the item (which keeps adding to any leakage). I take batts out of stored, or unused remotes, etc.
I cannot recall the last time I had an item destroyed by this, but I have had to clean some contacts now and then.
Others have reported in these threads some success in getting Duracell to take responsibility if something is permanently damaged, but of course, that is not going to be as simple as it should be. Much easier to get replacement batteries for packs that have leakage with receipt and pic I believe.
I hope this can help some here to have a bit of peace of mind.
