Don't let the price fool you, some of these are truly great lights such as the 1,000 lumens headlamp and the pen light. I've been a big fan of Fenix lights but there's always a risk of losing them in my SAR and EMT work. These are just as good but affordable enough to not be as stressed about losing one on scene. I've used them for a year now and really like them.

Hadn't seen the 800 Lumen tactical model or the aluminum flood/search light before so I just purchased those along with a few more pen lights. You can never have too many right? lol

This energizer headlight one's also been on the front page and I own three (rotate them every 5 hours while I'm doing painting/work. They have paid for themselves in terms of battery savings. Currently $13+ with 50% coupon too. Crap UI. $10 will get a Type C Li-Ion type rechargeable flashlight with a replaceable battery. Energizer does not offer the quality of the technology one should get for the price charged. The "50% off sale" is a marketing ploy. The "sale price" is an everyday market price for flashlights with these low end specs.

I haven't had to use the supplied cable to charge; I use the same usb-micro cable that I use to charge everything else I have at my desk.

I don't have to go through strobe to get to high or low. The switch goes high, off, low, off, strobe, off.

No it is not possible to avoid triggering strobe. No memory no direct access to any mode. Strobe will trigger every time on the third press Crappy U.I. like this is only found on very cheap led.
