No need for an edger if you have a string trimmer.
I've tried turning my string trimmer vertically to do edging. I have the 18v Milwaukee. As I'm moving, every once in a while the line sort of "grabs" the grass and it yanks the head and gouges the lawn where I didn't intend to cut, ruining the job. What causes that??

Seems like a decent deal on a good tool. Project farm actually did a video on this yesterday comparing all the battery operated string trimmers, this was his favorite.
The 60v Dewalt was his favorite to be clear. That said I am pulling the trigger here, I don't need much.

UPS just delivered mine. It was listed with the DCB115 charger which is 4.0 Amps. The charger that came with the trimmer is a DCB112 which is 2.0 Amps and will take twice as long to charge any given battery. I was debating ordering this, and one of my 'tipping' reasons for getting it was to get the more powerful charger (I already have a few of the DCB112's). I sent a message to the seller - we'll see what happens?

I have had mine several years now and it's by far the best yard tool I have, same power as gas , no mess ,no gas oil mix, no maintenance, just plug in a battery and go. It's been a fantastic tool. Highly recommend

Don't get 20v yard equipment! It's a weed tickler, not a weed whacker.

I like EGO, but there's a ton of stuff in the 50-80v range.

Not sure which version of this I have, but I've had it for a number of years. I did change the plastic guard, which at the time the OE guard was puny.

That said, these units work just fine for the average homeowner. If you're a landscaper and mowing down thick brush, yeah no this isn't going to work very well.

If you have a lot of items in the Dewalt ecosystem, it's an easy decision.

I contacted them through ebay asking which charger comes with it. Their response ' We understand that you are inquiring about the DeWalt DCST925M1

As we have checked, the charge would be the DCB115.

If we can be of further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Sincerely,

CPO Customer Care'
