I have a fire alarm speaker in my wall where this would need to go that is probably 3-4 mm thick.
Not a stupid question, I would suggest looking up a "How to install" video since that might answer your question by giving you a visual.

Pretty sure it's the same guy in every projector post. He's somehow surprised/impressed that his guests are initially captivated by a 120" screen that most people never see in a home vs. a 77" tv that people see every time they walk in Best Buy. Would be weird if people didn't stop and look at a giant screen on someone's wall. Also doesn't seem to understand that has nothing to do with picture quality.
Had to warranty it for a stuck pixel in the middle of the screen and they got it back to me within a week with free shipping labels. (Keep your box)
The positioning process to minimize the halo around the screen can be frustrating but worth the effort.
There are better ones now however. Xiomi c2 and fengmi t1 come to mind. Much better black performance
I thought movie theater screens had holes in them, different type of screen that the sound can pass through.
