Yeah Microsoft store has better deal, especially with gift cards recently purchased on eneba. I saved $130 on my Xbox, tax included.
I tried and I could not. I was $2 short and it wanted it all on my credit card. I did call and they were able to break it up and use both forms of payment.

I actually just did this without calling so I'm not sure if this is something they have now changed? I had $245 of MS store gift cards that I had sitting on the store for a couple weeks. They only charged my credit card for the balance due.
