If anyone is interested, you CANNOT get these working at 2K without using the eufy app.

RTSP will only work at 1080P via something like blue iris. It makes a big difference so be wary of that's what you're thinking.

Bought this last time when it was on sale. After selecting human only and lowering the sensitivity I still get a ton of false alerts.

This has not been my experience. They over night cameras and ask you ship the broken one back AFTER you receive new one. I had one stuck in night mode. They told me to keep it and use it until the replacement was set up and gave me a free label to ship it back out after.

Bought 2 last time it was on sale at this price. Really like them so far. Only thing is the human detection is a bit too sensitive but overall great camera. Now I want to but an indoor one to put in the garage.

1080 is okay for me but the biggest problem is that you cannot set user name and password for RTSP streaming. If you want to stream outside of your local network you basically open to public without username and password.

I bought 3 the last time these were on sale. Absolutely LOVE them. I rarely get false alerts, but then again, I have zones set up I want to monitor so I limit my exposure to false alerts. I also swapped in 128 GB cards in all 3 I bought so I have 12 days of continuous recording I can view. Can't say enough about these. I have one set up on my back porch area so when I let the dogs out, I can go do whatever inside and get alerted when they are ready to come back because they are sitting by the back patio door where I have a zone set up. I'm going to get one or two more because I want to monitor the sides of my house also.

It has live view. Click it in the app and it shows live streaming.

Best practice should be never to expose something like this outside your network. You wouldn't want to rely upon their simple password security anyway RIGHT? USE A VPN!!

I can confirm the good customer service. They overnighted me a new camera and I just sent the old one back with their pre-paid packaging. Great customer service.

I try this before…hated it! Always give false alarm even with diff settings.
I do have the other eufy cams and those are great (the bigger ones).

Eww, thanks. These are decent value for someone who just wants to use the Eufy app on its own. Want up to what I needed for my home network.

I bought an outdoor blink camera 3 weeks ago that stopped working. I went back to the store to get a replacement and was told that their return policy was shortened to 14 days. Anything after that, I would need to go to the manufacturer. What a shame. Who only allows 14 days to use a product.

Got this last time it was $50 and it has exceeded my expectations. Live view is very clear, I haven't had false alert yet *knock on wood*. I have sensitivity at default and sometimes it started recording a split second before I even step into the view, almost like it detected me and start saving the recording a second before that. Only have it for a few weeks so hope it lasts. Like someone has said, you can't view all the live views at once, only one camera at the time and that might be my only con so far.
