Newegg must be using spam bots to negate anything remotely negative about the products they are trying to unload.
I mentioned endurance inferiority on these EVOs and it didn't take half a day for my comment to disappear. Smh.

The Evo series have almost double to tbw. For 10, 20 dollars more.

This is a SATA III SSD. Maximum throughput is 600MB/s. Being faster is pointless for this connection.

Good price for a basic SSD. Will be used as a backup for the basic PCs at work. EVO would be faster, yes. But a basic SSD will nevertheless be faster than a HDD. And three years' warranty is decent (EVO would be five years). The computers won't last another five years anyway.

Yeah 110 on BB is lowest it seems. Was 100 last time I got one a month ago. Fluctuates these days.

How about packaging inferiority. can't believe they shipped this $100 item to me in a cheap padded envelope. i hope the internals are robust as i won't be installing this for a while. Speed of delivery was great but i think it could have been packaged better in a box vice envelope...
