I picked up the 3070 last time it was in stock. Is it over nvidia msrp? Yes, but not a ton. I considered how much time I was spending looking for a deal on a 6800 or 3070. It was a bit. I figured my time is worth more than zero, so I picked up the 3070 for a bit over msrp. I had been running with integrated graphics on a 12700k. The 3070 is nice.
Sorry for being a pessimist, but now that crypto has tanked it seems like all of a sudden these 'holy grail' cards are accessible. I'm sure it's just a coincidence It's my fault; I'm a bad person
Came to say this. These prices, ARE AT BEST, $100 more than they should be for what you get.
I know, blah blah this is where the market is heading. Nvidia and AMD made it this way. I hope Intel really stirs up something here. Mid-tier used to be $200 for some sweet price to performance deals. Then Nvidia and AMD got money eyeballs for miners (I'm talking back in the GTX 1080 days) and think they can just keep this up. I know so many who walked away from PC's and gaming.
And I essentially have too. When my 2070 blows up, I'm just going to buy a nice spec'd laptop and call it a day. Don't screw over your repeat customers.

Strong rumors that Nvidia is also going to announce the 4090 in the next few months with double the performance and these cards will be yesterday's news.

I'd say these prices are pretty decent, even if they are basic reference cards.

I see that on the 3070, it says "out of stock"
But for both the 3050 and 3060 it does not. There's just no place to add to cart.
