Anybody have experience with the CPS warranty? I'm considering it essentially worthless..

Looks like Costco and Amazon lowered their price on the 77in from $2,700 to $2,599 to match Buydig

Can anyone confirm if Buydig gets 5% back with the Electronic Stores category with the US Bank Cash Plus credit card?

I bought a warranty through them on a Vizio 70" purchased through eBay. When the Vizio had some backlights fail I submitted a claim, and they took so long to do anything with it the backlight replacement became unavailable. Then the TV started flashing static lines and I filed a new claim. They said I could not file a new claim since the first one was unresolved. They ultimately ended up refunding me the cost of the warranty and I threw the TV in the landfill. Screw CPS.

Was it real though? All of the targets within a 500mi radius of me didn't have it in stock. Did anyone actually find one at their target and at the ridiculous price that was posted on SD?
i got two back on April 27 when they were on sale for $624.99. Then I sold one to my local for $1250. Pretty much made mine for free.

The brightness issues are honestly overstated. My parents have the CX in the living room in front of the house with a massive window and I've never felt like it was "dim" so I can only imagine the C1 is brighter
pretty sure the CX is brighter

LGs are notorious for their poor burn in prevention software. As long as you trust the warranty will cover it you should be fine.
I have had 3, 2017 ones and no burn in on any.

Stop watching junk fox news/CNN channels that have banners ...8 hours a day and you won't have issues Wink

Late last year, the C1 77" was $2099 before tax and shipping on the LG Partner Mall. My total was $2315. Stock kept going in and out so I had to set up auto refresh in Google Chrome. I eventually snagged one, and I couldn't be happier.. It came with an Evo Panel, and it's been great every since. No issues whatsoever.

I remember when that deal happened. I was deathly ill, and I couldn't go check out my local Target stores. I'm glad it worked for you though. I would've been tempted to keep both, but oh well. Enjoy that 65" C1!
thanks man hope you are getting better

Thanks! I appreciate it. Yeah, I'm doing much better now. It was horrible, but I'm glad I'm back to normal now. Good luck on getting a great deal on a C1!

What do you do with your old tv ? I have a perfectly functioning 58" Panasonic plasma which I would hate to throw away which is keeping me from buying a 65" OLED Smilie
