Yes, somewhat of a bummer, but not a total loss. I guess those that use this with a watch might make the ZF3 last longer, so as to not flip the thing open every time a beep comes up hundreds of times daily.

That is a big YMMV. I know some here were able to walk out with the $800 gc, but everything depends on the rep or manager allowing it since I believe it is supposed to be part of upgrading to another phone. If I get shut down, I'm stuck with a ZF3.

Technically can still trade it in to another galaxy (800 gets galaxy 22, still need to pay tax) and then return the phone to get the gift card back including the tax you paid, just ask the agent don't open the phone for you, otherwise 45 restocking fee. Then making it a sure thing instead of YMMV but it's one extra trip to BB

I was about to head to store today and get a Verizon version s22U for $850, it is $50 cheaper than unlocked, it should covers activation fee. oh well, will wait on next deal.

The enhanced value ($800 instead of $600) is only valid when using to pay for the unlocked version. The Activate Today unlocked cost is $799 (Z Flip3 5G), meaning it won't leave any credit left. How did you keep a credit after each trade-in?

Also, you said you kept a new phone, but you ended up returning the S22. What phone were you able to keep since you traded it in every time?

for those interested,the zflip3 has 700TIV if used to buy iphones.The white iphone pro 128gb for Tmobile is at 899 right now...YMMV .

You can "buy" a phone with the GC, and return it to get the full value of the GC back as long as it's unopened. You get $300 per flipped zflip this way. I ended up with just under 1800 in best buy gc and bought the last flip to keep around because after all this, I thought it was a kinda neat phone.

I have 2 ZF3's being shipped to store. . .so just gonna wait till the weekend to make any decisions.

They tightened the noose in so many aspects, I guess in prep of the big sale this week. Pretty much everything is back to MSRP both unlocked and TMO. And if the deal ends up being for TMO S22U's this weekend, the normal TMO ZF3 TIV just dropped a hundy to $700 today, and wouldn't be adjusted for two more weeks. . .if ever again as I think it officially dropped ranks.

I am really more interested in just trying for the $800 gc if it is still on the table. I am planning on trading the ZF3 for the base s22 if necessary, and then returning the sealed s22 for the gc.

So if I trade a ZF3 today for a regular s22 in-store, will I now only get $700 instead of $800 TIV?

I already have a Equipment installment running on my line. Can I purchase Z flip 3 in full on the same line ? I was able to get till check out, but I am worried if it does something to my current installment plan on the same line. Any idea?
