You literally do not need to use the HP batteries on your Ryobi HP tools, but with this kit you can take full advantage of the performance of your HP tools vs the non HP batteries. You don't like how heavy they are with a 6ah or even 4ah battery? Great we got your 2ah one right here. Oh the 2ah does not last long enough? Great we got the 6ah. What's that still to heavy? Fine the 4ah is just right, now shut up and buy some more HP tools to take advantage of your starter kit. Here, we even give you a free tool as a bonus so you can really start off right and don't need to really buy more HP batteries unless you want to.
You cannot ship the one you want to keep to house and choose to pick up the one you don't and cancel it.
Choosing the most expensive tool, the battery kit is then $107.61, but you will have to return the tool you don't want to keep.

The better 1/4" impact drivers (P237, brushless P238, but NOT the crappy p235) can remove wheel lugs.

I've been eyeing their brushless 7.5, which is blade right and would be "free" in this deal, but it doesn't seem to be well loved on review sites. I also have a foot in the Makita camp so any of their saws are also an option, but obviously not "for free" š. Anyone have experience with this saw vs Makita or others? Are the criticisms on the Ryobi HP saw warranted or nitpicks? Is it a big improvement in livability/quality over the brushed, non-HP 6.5" saw?
Pretty sure that's why it was sold as a "blem". Found this problem out using the Kreg rip cut. The blade kept binding and stopped several times trying to get through plywood. The paint on one side of a new diablo blade was rubbed off leaving a shiny metal ring under the teeth. There was 1/4" difference between front to back of the blade and I've never dropped the saw. This saw is almost useless to me because I had specifically bought it to use with the kreg.
I have the brushless 7 1/4" HP version on the way from their recent sale. Hopefully that one has a straight blade, but I'm not holding my breath. Most of my factory blem tools from DTO that I expected accuracy from were big letdowns so far. This next one will prove whether it's bad luck or SOP for their blems.
If you're looking for accuracy for breaking g down plywood, just get a track saw. I wish i had done that in the first place. I currently have 3 circular saws that don't track straight with 2 more on the way lol. I could have bought the Wen tracksaw and aftermarket tracks for about $200. All my circular saws and kreg rip cut have cost much more. The wen is cheap and a bit flimsy (not any more flimsy than the kreg rip cut), but it will cut straight.
The most expensive clones average 2 of their comparable Ryobi counterparts for the cost of 1 genuine Ryobi, but you can easily find well reviewed listings for 1 or more batteries that easily net a 3 to 1 & even close to 4 clones for the cost of 1 Ryobi genuine in terms of pricingā¦
This is something that would be an even more attractive option, & would carry a massively more favorable risk/reward proposition, for the occasional use/DIY-er, one who doesn't utilize their tools in a heavy &/or demanding fashion, & the 30-day returns protect against any lemons, duds, &/or simple less-than-expected performance.

I sometimes get that message and I use a different browser and it goes away.
The other way is to specify two different pickup location and make sure the pick up location convenient to you is the item you want.
I'm also assuming the unwanted item can't just be cancelled immediately anymore (even if they are both the same pickup method)?...meaning you have to return it in store
People that do this dozen's of times (return in store) in a short period of time are going to be in for a rude awakening when they are no longer able to do returns. Home Depot, like many B&M retailers, use a company to track returns and when that company deems you're being abusive, they can and will limit or terminate your ability to do a return. Big difference between returning unwanted/unused lumber, fittings, bits and 20 battery packs in a 7-day period.
