Looked up this item on Amazon. Only had two reviews [amazon.com], but one of them said it's only made as a display sword and would break if it were used for any type of practical use.

I dunno. Wasn't my review. However, both reviews on Amazon seem to indicate it's more of a piece for display and not actually for hitting or stabbing anything with it.

As others have said, this is for display only. The blade is too heavy and isn't all the way into the handle so expect the blade to fall off with bit of swinging it around with full force. But definitely looks good on display.

It's a reverse blade, obviously it's not meant to be used. It's a novelty item that was made for fans of Rurouni Kenshin.

I wanted to buy a fake katana for a video skit and the Kill Bill one is listed under "Bill's Sword" with stand for $25 free shipping. Seems like an OK deal.
