I've used the wool one's for years but I throw in like a dozen, 2 wouldn't do much of anything from what I've observed.

I don't know if they are all the same but I tried a knock off brand of these type and they were a very hard plastic. They were loud and would bang around in the dryer. I switch to wool ones.

This is meant to be an improvement over the small stash of tennis balls I keep next to the dryer...?

Good luck!

or the woolen ones?

I've seen OP balls at $ store too.

I'd imagine there's no real upgrade from the woolen ones since they're probably about as indestructible as dryer tennis balls.I'd bet that these glorified dog chews are going to have slightly lower durability. Almost thought about buying it... until I remembered the tennis balls I keep in the laundry room specifically for the comforter.

Good luck!
Jon
