I noticed is always activate your Costco membership in the beginning of the month to get the entire month. Something to remember.

Costco ends your membership at the end of the month regardless of when the membership was activated in that month.

I tried this once asking to create the new account under my name instead of my brother's. The employee totally ignored me and just renewed my brother's account. Never got the coupons or shop card

Thanks for asking! Your membership will start when you redeem your Digital gift of Membership at the nearest Costco warehouse. However, to qualify, you must redeem your voucher by July 10, 2022.

It's only worth getting the executive if you spend more than $125 per month at costco AND pay with the Citi Costco Visa credit card. If you not planning on getting their credit card, then you have to spend around $250 per month to make it even out with the gold. It make no sense if people get the executive and not the Costco credit card with it. The pair together make it so much better. Cash back and perks. If you buy any electronics/appliances with a 1 year warranty, being an executive member, it will extended the manufacture warranty from 1 year to 2 years. Paying it with the Citi costco card will give it an extra 2 years of warranty from Citi. So that's 4 years total. And the 4% cash back from the credit card apply to any major gas station(shell, bp, chevron,Exxon,etc) not just costco gas.

My area's first Costco recently opened so newbie question here...

Do I have to use the VISA I want to use for auto-renewal when I purchase from Groupon? Or can I use any Groupon accepted payment method to get the voucher, and then present the VISA to use for renewal when I first get my card?

I hate these costco promo. I've never received them on my last 3 sign ups. Go to the store and they tell you they can't help because online and store are different. Call in and they give you excuses. Such bs

I guess my question is "sign up" during the Groupon checkout process, or when I exchange the voucher for a card in the store?
