Every place I have read it is dual sim capable......Hmmmmm will try later.

Alongside a powerful processor and excellent displays, another exciting feature of the Galaxy S22 is dual SIM support
and you clearly did not read the whole article...It does have "dual sim support", it needs to be a combination of a physical sim AND a e-sim...

RIF..

Just activated Fi on my new 22+. Now my other carrier is Tmobile and I dont want to risk taking out the Fi sim and replace it with the Tmobile sim. I'd like to leave the Fi sim in there and add the Tmobile esim to the 22+. This wont cause any issues right? Any risks there of voiding the promo?

I'm already a Google Fi member. can I just get a phone and take a phone number from Google?
Then after 4 months, stop that service/line and keep the unlocked phone without service.

Being an existing Fi member, you won't qualify for the discount (up to $600 off) on the S22 phones.

I'm not well versed in all this stuff. But if I port in a number to my account/Google service
from an existing service (girlfriend's t mobile) that would be considered a new member and qualify for S22? Thanks a lot

If your GF is not yet a Fi member, just order the phone under her name/Google account and port in her number. That's the simplest way.

I think you can create a group plan and add your GF as a member and order a phone under her name. But I don't know all the details. Perhaps someone else will chime in.

You would need to invite a different google email to your plan.

If I understand you correctly, I think she would have to open her own account and order the phone and that would be more expensive than adding her to my account. Thanks for
your help!

That should be possible. Just a Gmail email. I invite her. "she" will be able to order the phone and be on my account?
then at the end of 4 months, we can drop service on new phone and keep "unlocked" S22??

The phone comes unlocked out of the box. Meeting the 4 months requirement is to avoid getting charged for the $500-$600 discount on the phone.

It gives you the option if you want to purchase the phone. Otherwise the "other user" can purchase.
