Probably trying to dump them because they are meh and aren't selling anywhere... you don't see any buzz going around about this model either. Except for the price reduction that may start a buzz.
Example, the "blacks are grey" comment is only really applicable when comparing this to oled. Most reviews of the other size model suggest contrast on this tv is still a step up from most non oled models.

The only issue here is contrast ratio but for $1,083 after taxes where I live it's a killer deal for an 8k tv.
