I have a few Logitech mouses lying around the house, all failed due to this double-click issue. Tried to fix them by reshaping the spring, but the issue resurface after a short period of time... so had to bought new mouse...

Look for the MX master 2, 3, or new 3s for the double scroll wheels
It seems like a lot of people have negative things to say about razer. But I can't tell if it's a pattern or some underlying issues with razer mouses
Newer high end Razer mice like the Basilisk advertise something about an optical switch for the primary click buttons, not sure if that mitigates the issue.

Problem with that approach is that the new mouse will only be good for pretty much the same extend of time, and that's why I have 3-4 mice lying around. I guess the replacement switches MUST be a lot better than the original one to justify their price, and that would last me at least 2-3 years. Not?
