someone please talk me out of selling my Ryobi table saw and buying this to replace it.
I think the rack and pinion adjustments for the Dewalt fence was one of best features about it compared to other brands. That and the build quality alone make the Ryobi feel like toy saw when I compared them in store.

Is this hackable like Milwaukee tool deals are at HD

Edit. I'm going to go with no. Looks like it's a bundled sku and not separated in the cart

Is the stand that comes with this one worth the $30 extra over the $329 bundle that comes with the "compact table saw stand"?

Dado blades are game-changers, this is one of the reasons I upgraded from the 7485 DWE7491RS. The best money I spent on woodworking.

Unless you are only doing one type of dado cut at a fixed width, you will always have to swap blades and/or shims, this will require you to take out the entire dado anyway every time you adjust your dado.

Why the 10 over the 8?

I'm debating grabbing this and offloading my ryobi table saw.
Same here! Anyone want to buy my Ryobi? 😂

Might just depend more on use case. The compact stand might be fine if you keep it in a shop and don't move it much or very far, also takes up a little less space with the option of putting it on a small rolling mobile base if its just rolling around a shop.

The rolling stand is a little wider and is meant to be moved around but that's not to say it cant just stay stationary.

Sell the stand on a 3rd-party site and and make this a slicker deal. Or sell it and use the saw to make your own stand from 3/4 ply and Harbor Freight locking casters.

Really wish I waited to buy this. The stand makes it worth it. Got it for $299 plus my military discount, without the stand at depot maybe 8 months ago. No complaints at all. I did want the 10 inch because I mill my own wood and sometimes it's thicker than 2.5 inches. Haven't had an issue with wood under 2.5 inches. Really rips well. I LOVE the fence design it's an easy turn dial and it has the measurements built onto that saw so you can get an exact cut without needing to break a tape measuring out. I'd say hands down a good buy especially with the stand. Happy with my purchase just wish I waited for this to get the stand too.

Yeah I have a Ridgid stand for my miter saw. Wasn't sure how it would work since the work area for the table saw is taller than the supports.

And FWIW I absolutely love the Ridgid stand.
DTO has the Ridgid stand for stupid cheap sometimes on their recon deals.

Too bad the DeWalt combo isn't a hackable deal. Already have the table saw but could sure use the stand. Good table saw for most light work. A glide top secondary support stand can really extend the ease of use of a small table saw like this.
