Waiting for the first person that buys these and complains that they're uncomfortable for daily wear. 😂

Been running for 18 years regularly, ran a lot of long distance and treadmill. Dealt with injuries, including bursitis and a torn labrum…

Please, do your future self a favor. Go to a running shoe store, get fitted for a pair of shoes that suit your feet. You may overpay by $50 but you'll enjoy running while minimizing injuries.

I.e i have flat and wide feet. I wanted medium cushions for up to 5k runs. I was suggested Mizuno Waves and it made a huge difference. I would have never found them just by looking for high end shoe deals.

Thanks a lot, OP. You just cost me $200. Picked up a pair of pros and a pair of speeds. Damn.

Great deal on one of the best carbon plated racers and one of the best carbon plated trainers you can buy. Need to pick up my paces a little to make them worth it, but that's coming along.

FWIW, applying the 10% coupon for emails negates the 40% off sale. Still a good deal.

Not a good shoe for slower paces or heel strikers. They roll your ankle too easily. Saucony corrected this design flaw in the pro and speed 3's releasing later this year.

Started running to get back in shape. 6+ miles a week, will this be okay for me or are they intended for long distance runners. The comments are throwing me off lol

You'll really only benefit from this shoe/a carbon fiber plate if your speeds are ~7:30min/mi. or less. It's when the shoe really shines and gives you that propulsion.

The Speeds don't have the carbon plate. But their profile seems to match the Pros and gives you a similar feel. I usually wear the speeds when I want to do a faster/tune-up workout before race day.

I bought a pair of the Pros on a SD impulse buy last June and it's been the best decision ever. Best racing shoe I've ever had. I've now used them from anything from a track 5k to a road 10 mile. It's amazing how much less beat up I feel after racing in these shoes. I would be so shredded after racing a track 5k in spikes. With these, I feel like I could turn around and run another one the next day.

I only have 42 miles on my Endorphin Pro 1's.....But might as well snag another pair....

That's the issue that I'm trying to correct (at 49 years old) - goi g from heel striker to toe striker.it's not easy.

It also seems that these shows are not very comfortable unless you're running sub 7 minute miles.

No problem for me, midfoot/heel striker here. Shoes are excellent for 7m30s pace or faster but sometime 8m pace is fine. However I highly recommend the Speed for daily training as it's more comfortable and can adapt to various speeds.

Thanks OP! This is a great racing shoe. I got the Pro 1s for about this price at this time a year but did not expect to get the 2s for <$100 given the $40 increase in the line between the 1s and 2s. Excellent deal.

That's good to hear, I'm trying to learn, but that's slow (mostly because my calves are screaming now from being on ties).

These are high speed racing shoes. Not for daily training. Try the Ride, which had good reviews for a daily trainer.
