Gosh, I keep trying and trying to get a "silent" keyboard to avoid the wife's comments about being on the computer. Doesn't stop me, but gosh, it would be nice if it really was muted. The curse of being a fast typist, it can sound like I'm writng a novel, when all I'm doing is posting a thing here or there.
I'm coming from laptop low profile and the deeper key caps kind of suck to get used to when going to a 100% keyboard
Wish there was smaller sizes or every gaming company only does mechanical and Logitech just last week came out with low profile mechanical but it's 3x the price
Typing experience is decent but it's too bad I couldn't get this to be price matched with Best Buy when I needed to
I can see why this is on sale as most people buy these keyboards to passive-aggressively annoy their co-workers. Making it quiet doesn't help the mission.
how quiet is this compared to logitech k800? i like the quietness of the k800 but i think the wireless is causing issues with the typing. sometimes, itll double press a button when i only press it once.

Highly recommend the linear or tactile version of the Logitech g815/g915. They're not cheap, but they're quiet and will make you a faster typist.

Received, and now returning. Keys were quieter than my existing prior attempt at a quiet keyboard, so that was great perhaps 10% or better quieter. But the space bar was double or more increase in sound level, t clicks loudly upon recoil to up position. Seems to have a long travel as the cause. Will keep trying given the space bar key is so frequently used.

Didn't need the mouse pad or the mouse
