I guess it's because it's not quite or silent so can't be compared.

You're spot on for this one. I was looking for something small space wise for my daughter (6yo) with rgb and ended up with his but the TKL version. It's so much better than I thought. For a membrane keyboard, this does enough to very nearly satisfy my tactile desire. I've been using a Logitech G710+ with blue switched forever and like it a lot. Keycaps just got replaced though. It's a loud ass keyboard but it's so tactile. I've also tried several varieties of mechanical boards available in stores this last year. My son settled on a G413 this year with red switched and it's pretty good. I'm def not a linear/non- tactile fan but it's much quieter than the G710+ but also noiser by a fair margin then this Apex 3.
Anyway, I could live practically satisfied with this keyboard if I need a really quiet one.
i can't even imagine using mechanical if this is their "quiet" variant
key caps aren't replaceable so my wasd is worn after 6 months of use
